How Do I Prepare for Kitchen Installation?
Before your installation date: confirm your kitchen delivery is complete and undamaged, ensure first-fix plumbing, electrical and gas work is done, clear the room and access routes, and confirm worktop measurements. Our survey covers all of this in advance.
- Check your full delivery before installation day
- First-fix plumbing and electrical must be complete before we start
- Clear the room and all access routes on installation day
- Stone worktop templating must happen before the installation completes

Related Questions
You do not need to be present throughout, but a responsible adult should be available at the start and end of each day, and contactable throughout. We will need access to the property each morning.
Yes — we recommend protecting hard floors with hardboard or thick dust sheets in the kitchen and all access routes. We take care in our work but installation involves heavy units and tools.
Stone worktop templating must happen after base units are installed and levelled, typically on day 2 or 3 of the installation. The stone supplier then returns 5–10 working days later to fit the worktop. Plan your installation programme around this.
Strip-out and disposal of the old kitchen is not included in our standard service but can be arranged. Most clients arrange for a skip or a separate clearance service. Please discuss at your survey.
