Every kitchen retailer supplies and delivers its units differently, and that has a direct effect on how your installation is planned. Rigid, pre-assembled cabinets from retailers such as Wren, Magnet and Benchmarx arrive largely ready to fix in place, while flat-pack systems from IKEA, Wickes and B&Q need to be built up from panels on site before a single unit goes on the wall — adding time to the job and calling for fitters experienced with that specific assembly process. Trade-only suppliers including Howdens, Benchmarx and Magnet Trade are ordered and collected directly from a local depot or trade counter by our team, which removes the need for a separate delivery to your home and reduces the risk of damage in transit.
German-engineered ranges from Kutchenhaus and Nolte are built to tighter tolerances and can carry longer lead times than UK high-street brands, while kitchens from independent-retailer manufacturers such as Symphony and Masterclass are delivered in co-ordination with the specific showroom you ordered from. None of this changes how we approach the fitting itself — we are independent of every retailer we work with — but it does change the logistics we plan for at your survey. - As a trade-only supplier, Howdens kitchens are ordered and collected by our fitting team directly from the local depot, eliminating the need for a separate customer delivery and reducing the risk of damage in transit.
- Magnet Kitchens
- Magnet kitchens are typically delivered directly from their depot to your home, and we recommend confirming the delivery schedule with your local Magnet store well in advance to align with our installation booking.
- Magnet Trade
- When supplying through Magnet Trade, our team orders and collects directly from the trade counter, which typically allows for more flexible scheduling and faster resolution of any missing or damaged items.
- Benchmarx Kitchens
- Benchmarx kitchens are ordered through our trade account and collected from the local branch, making them particularly well-suited to projects with tight timelines where waiting for a retail delivery is not practical.
- B&Q Kitchens
- B&Q kitchens are typically self-purchased by the client prior to installation; please ensure all boxes are checked for completeness and damage upon delivery, as sourcing replacement parts from store can add time to the installation schedule.
- Wickes Kitchens
- Wickes kitchens are supplied flat-packed and should be delivered to site before installation commences; we recommend reviewing the delivery lead time carefully, as some ranges require additional factory order time.
- IKEA Kitchens
- IKEA kitchens require full assembly from flat-pack, which adds time to the installation compared to pre-built carcasses; our IKEA-experienced fitters build the carcasses on site and allow for this in their scheduling.
