Kitchen Sizes We Install
Install My Kitchen installs kitchens of all sizes and configurations. There is no minimum or maximum kitchen size — our service scales from a compact galley kitchen in a flat or terraced house to a large open-plan kitchen-diner in an extension or new build.
Small and Compact Kitchens
Small kitchens — typically 6–12 units — are often found in flats, starter homes, and Victorian terraced properties. The challenge with small kitchens is often the opposite of what you might expect: compact spaces with limited manoeuvring room for units, restricted wall lengths requiring precise planning, and low headroom in some older properties. We are experienced in fitting kitchens in all of these conditions.
Medium Kitchens
Medium kitchens of 13–20 units are the most common installation type we carry out. These are typically found in semis and detached properties across Coventry and Warwickshire, often with a single run of units plus an island or peninsula.
Large and Open-Plan Kitchens
Large kitchens of 21+ units are increasingly common in extended properties and new builds. Open-plan kitchen-diner-living spaces require careful planning of the installation sequence, and often involve more complex appliance configurations with multiple ovens, induction zones, and integrated refrigeration. Our lead fitters have extensive experience with large kitchen installations.
Unusual Configurations
We also install kitchens in unusual settings including barn conversions (often with exposed stone walls and sloping ceilings), garden rooms, and listed buildings. Each of these presents specific challenges that our surveyor will assess and plan for.
